INTERMEDIATE MAKE TIME: 6–8 hours

The Maywood Totepack converts from backpack to tote with the pull of a strap! It features strong leather straps, a zipper closure, exterior pocket with magnetic snap, and in interior laptop pocket.

These B-Grade kits have minor imperfections, like scuffs and dents, on the leather and waxed canvas. The cut fabric pieces might be slightly shy of the pattern dimensions, or holes punched slightly off center, but the bag will sew up just fine.They include all of the materials you need to make the Maywood, as well as the PDF pattern. You have the option to add the online class, tools, and a paper instructions booklet below. NOTE: FINAL SALE! The leather, zipper + hardware colors will be a surprise! *Fabric and leather may include dents, scuffs and small spots.

Kit is a game changer!

I totally wouldn’t have been able to cut out and precisely cut all of the various notches and holes. This kit made the construction of this bag BEAUTIFUL and approachable. I highly recommend a kit for makers who haven’t worked with these materials before. It’s nice to manage one thing at a time (in this case construction as opposed to material gathering AND construction)

Disappointed in strap color

I got a navy and slate Maywood set and was disappointed that it came with natural colored straps. I don't think they go with the canvas color at all. I know it's a dice roll, but I've bought 2 seconds sets now and they both came with natural straps. If you're hoping for black or brown I think that's probably rare.
