VALUE CARD SORTING ACTIVITY

Take away: A list of 10-12 core values that you want to utilize to inspire
your life & work.
WHY? Ask yourself two questions:
- What values are important to me in my personal life?
- What values are important to me in my professional life and projects?
Instructions:
Place all the values on the floor/table/ground. Do an initial sort of each value card into
one of the three piles: “not important to me, somewhat important to me, very important to me.”
Then do a second sort whittling down the values in the very important pile(s) to 4-6 personal values and 4-6 professional work-related values that are very important to you. Perhaps these are not represented in your professional/work life yet. Perhaps they are slightly aspirational but they are what you want to be represented in your life and day-to-day professional tasks. Stick or list your values here.
"It all comes down to what is most important—how you want to live your life and how you want your business to contribute to the world. In my experience, getting clear on those things makes you unstoppable."
