Chicago Screws
A pack of four Chicago screws, great for attaching leather straps to your bag with a strong, reliable hold. They have two threaded pieces with flat heads on both ends, so they sit flush with the leather strap and create a strong, reliable hold.
We use a Chicago Screw to attach the strap on ourย Fremont Tote, because itโs easier to install than a rivet, given that the bag has a closed-end zipper across the top. The best way to tighten them is with aย Chicago Screw Tool.

Our Materials
Waxed Canvas
A densely-woven cotton fabric that's saturated with wax, giving it protection against the elements. It shows scuffs and creases that blend into a weathered patina.ย *fabric colorsย vary in weight from 10-12oz
Leather
Sourced from Oregon and a Pennsylvania tannery, and hand-selected for quality. Our hides are cut into straps with a hydraulic press to ensure precision and consistency.
Hardware
Hardware takes a bag from looking homemade to professionalโand it's not hard to do! Using basic tools, you can set rivets & more. All our hardware is real metal and built to last.
