Steel Fabric Roller
This is an amazing tool. I can’t believe I have been making bags without this! I feel like my folds are much more crisp then ever before!
I have been looking for a nice seam roller that has a little heft to it. This is perfect.

For many years I resisted purchasing this roller. When I gave in and bought it, I wondered why I hadn't purchased it sooner. Because you can't really press waxed canvas with an iron, this is the perfect solution to making sure seams lie flat before and after sewing. Very glad I bought it. I've been using it daily.
Wasn’t sure that I needed this tool but I have used it over and over again! It is well made!
I love this roller. It has some heft to it to make nice creases. I wonder, if you heated it up with a hairdryer, if it could nearly take the place of an iron?! Thanks would be a nice tool to add to your supplies.

I love this roller for not just waxed canvas, but it's great for a quick seam press on quilting fabric. No need to get up from my machine and go to the iron. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it too.

I wish I could post a video with this review. I’ve been sewing with waxed canvas for years and have always used the handle of my scissors to crease hems. It leaves marks and doesn’t work that well. I thought this tool was a bit pricey, but it’s very well made, heavy and solid- a good deal for the cost. It works so well, I can’t even believe it. I fold over the hem, roll over it and it stays put- doesn’t unfold at all. No more pins or wonder clips needed! Wish I’d found it years ago.

Does this steel roller also work well for other materials, such as cottons or blended fabrics, for creating a quick seam instead of using an iron?
Yes, it totally works for making a crease on other fabrics as well! Not as dramatic as a steam iron, but the weight of it makes a nice quick fold.
