This rivet removal tool is a total game changer. It makes removing metal rivets (both double-cap and tubular) so quick and easy. It comes with a strike post and a base with die-cuts for different sized rivets. You’ll need a (non-rubber) mallet and a punching board to go with it. It is important to put a punching board underneath the tool when using, so as to not bend the pin punch. Manufactured right here in Portland, Oregon!

It works

The hole piece is hardwood and the punch has a smooth base, not hollow like a nail punch. Just need to be consistent on which side you put the cap. It works to remove the 1/2” to 7/16” double cap rivets I use!
