This Kai 5045 rotary cutter easily cuts through leather or multiple layers of heavy-duty fabric. It can be used freehand or in combination with a quilting ruler to make quick, straight cuts. It has a comfortable grip and can be used interchangeably between left and right-handed makers without having to adjust any settings. Its 45mm blade is only exposed when pressure is applied, for extra safety! Includes one blade. Replacement blades can be purchased here.

A rotary cutter just works better than fabric sheers. It's faster and more precise. The pieces of my bags are neater and line up when I assemble them. This tool was a good purchase.

Nice Cutter
I am glad I got this cutter, it feels sturdy and is very sharp. I prefer using this rotary cutter to using fabric shears, and I like the mechanism that keeps the blade covered when not in use. the 45mm size is really useful for cutting thick fabrics, leather, and multiple layers.
